14 Jan Winter Supplies Needed to Keep Our Neighbors Warm
Due to the pandemic, many public spaces and programs are still closed. But as temperatures continue to drop and we approach the winter, our programs and services are crucial.
Each year, we at Immanuel Community Services give out life-saving supplies – coats, gloves, hats, scarves, etc. – to our unsheltered neighbors to help them make it through the winter. In order to continue providing the necessary support of warmth and comfort this winter, we need your help!
A few of our current/ongoing needs are:
- Sweat pants (Priority)
- Gloves (Priority)
- Thermals/long johns (Priority)
- Hand warmers (Priority)
- Feet warmers
- Thermal Socks
- Winter shoes
- Hats
- Scarves
- Outdoor, waterproof blankets
- Cold weather sleeping bags
- Waterproof backpacks
- Umbrellas
- Warm winter jackets
If you would like to drop items off, please email info@icsseattle.org to make an appointment. Please also reach out with any questions or ideas of other winter items that could benefit our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
