Hygiene Items for Our Neighbors Experiencing Homelessness, Addiction, & Mental Health Challenges

“The opposite of addiction is not sobriety, it is connection.”

Recovery Cafe is a community of people who have been traumatized by homelessness, addiction and other mental health challenges coming to know we are loved and that we have gifts to share. We seek to promote the following guiding principles in all aspects of our work and community: to connect with divine love in ourselves and others, show respect, cultivate compassion, practice forgiveness, encourage growth, and give back.

To help our community members who are experiencing homelessness, we offer hygiene items to provide health and security. We are currently in need of the following items and could use your support:

  • Body Wipes
  • Small Tissue Packs
  • Travel Size Deodorant
  • Hand Warmers

Check out our in-kind needs list to see all the Hygiene Items that we receive as donations with links to purchase online: https://recoverycafe.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/In-Kind-Donations-Wish-List-Updated-2_25.pdf.

Items can be purchased and shipped directly to Recovery Cafe at: 2022 Boren Ave, Seattle, WA 98121

or reach out to R2EH to coordinate pick up. If you’d like to donate financially and allow R2EH to purchase items on your behalf, our Venmo is: @R2EndHomelessness.
