Essential Items for Neighbors that Access the Food Bank


The University District Food Bank is dedicated to building a hunger-free Northeast Seattle by providing their neighbors with reliable access to healthy food and life-changing resources. The Food Bank offers a grocery store style shopping experience for customers, where they are offered dignity through choice and able to find food items that are culturally relevant.

In addition to food items, the UDFB also distributes other essential items. Here is a list of items that are currently in need:

  • Toothbrushes / Toothpaste
  • Toilet Paper / Paper Towels
  • Soap
  • Baby Wipes
  • Size 5/6 Diapers
  • Tents
  • Sleeping Bags

If you prefer to make a cash donation and allow R2EH staff to purchase items to donate on your behalf, you may use our Venmo option: @R2EndHomelessness.
